leaving

Today we are leaving Volos. We are glad we spent great time here and we learnt so much, we experienced. We are thankful Erasmus + for giving us a chance.

seventeenth day

Today was our last day. We just took some photos of our creation and we edited them in photoshop. Our pretty model was Ance, the girl from Latvia, who was in this experience Erasmus too.

sixteenth day

Today we finished our dress it was our last day at sewing workroom. Sewing machines was really good and we loved working there but we were a little bit sad about leaving this nice place.

fiftheenth day

Today we cut our model from surface material and we sew it by the hands for the second fitting.

second weekend

We invited museums in Volos - museum of archeology and museum of Volos history.

twelfth day

Today we cut our model from muslin and we saw it by the hands and prepared it for the first fitting.

eleventh day

Today we went to Athens and we visited archeological museum and museum of Akropolis. We also saw changing of castle guard.

tenth day

Today we made pattern of our model with changes of basic pattern.

ninth day

Today, we went to school to lessons of making patterns and we were trying to find inspiration in books and on the internet.

eighth day

Today, we went to a few factories to see how it works there. They learned us a lot about special machines and how to do patterns in computer. After that we had lesson of printing on fabric. In the evening we went to workshop of traditional greek clothes, we made there patterns for model 1:3.

weekend in Thessaloniki

We spend weekend at Thessaloniki with Sara and her uncle, we saw many of museums, White tower and Thessaloniki walls. It was very inspiring.

Fifth day

Today we went to school and we used all our inspiraition to make scatches of our model, it will be coat and dress and it is inspired by Giorgio de Chirico, greek columns and meerschaum. It was good to work together.

Fourth day

At thursday we had trip to beautiful Meteora, where are monastery on high rocks and we came to three of them. It was incredible, that trip showed us that we can do things which looks impossible. After that we had workshop about making Icons, We used traditional materials as a canvas, gold and powder colors.

Third day

At wednesday we went to amaizing Makrinitsa - it is mountain close to Volos and we visited to museum about history of Pelion. There was old loom and traditional clothes.  It was very inspiring and it showed us a lot of history and life in that area.

Second day

At Tuesday we went to Museum of Giorgo de Chirico, there was an exibition about traditional greek musical instruments and also there was exibition of Christina Stambolians dresses and fashion drawings which was very inspiring. After museum we went to school and we had fashion drawing lesson. We made some scatches for theatre greek drama called Ifigenia.
